Hist\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Antes de se tornar um playground para os ricos, o nome de Courchevel originou-se do vilarejo de mesmo nome e refere-se tamb\u00e9m \u00e0s cidades vizinhas, como La Plaz 1350\/1550\/1650\/1850 Courchevel 1650 (Moriond) e Courchevel 1850, que recebem n\u00fameros devido \u00e0 altitude em metros. A luxuosa esta\u00e7\u00e3o de esqui compete diretamente com Val d\u2019Isere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Couchevel foi inicialmente planejado em 1942, durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, sob o governo de Vichy, e o projeto foi entregue ao arquiteto e urbanista Laurent Chappis. Esquiador entusiasta, a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de Courchevel por Chappis come\u00e7ou na reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00f3s-guerra e foi o primeiro resort na Fran\u00e7a autossustent\u00e1vel, em vez de ser constru\u00eddo em torno de uma cidade existente.
